A nice touch is to phrase the wording of your wedding announcement as though it is being announced by your parents (especially if they footed the mammoth bill).

Instead of 1 photo you can also put 3 equal sized photos or a collage, get creative.
The wording can be changed from "Introducing the new Mr. and Mrs." to "We just tied the knot" or "Just married" etc. keep it short and sweet.
